It is best to get your availability in early and for as far out as possible so as to get the shifts you want when you want them. Once availability is submitted we will do everything we can to book you on those days and let you know your schedule ASAP. When availability is submitted, assume you will be working on those days and please do not make other plans until we have given you your schedule. It reflects negatively on you and on us if we place you in a shift and then have to cancel.
Calendar Instructions
Click the heading links in the purple menu bar to navigate between Calendar, Schedule Requests and Notes, Licenses and Certifications, Review Pay Stubs, and Log Off.
If you like you can simply click on the Avail link once in the calendar and type the exact days and what hours and length of time you would like to work (I.e. 9/12,13,14,15 and 20 any 8 or 12 hour shift between 7am and 11pm for up to 36 hours in any one week) OR you can utilize the calendar by checking the boxes which are defined below.
Avail: Click on this link to add a note regarding your Availability on a particular date.
Checkboxes on Calendar days: The checkboxes located within each calendar day are used to specify/update a temp's availability and shift preference. These same checkboxes appear in the Temp Access calendar page for temps with the ability to remotely access and update their own calendar. You may select more than one shift per calendar day. Your selections will be colorfully highlighted for visibility ease. A legend describing each shift selection is provided below:
1 = AM 8
2 = PM 8
3 = NOC 8
4 = AM 12 (7:00A - 7:00P)
5 = PM 12 (7:00P - 7:00A)
DNW = Do Not Work
Printable View: This link, located in the yellow header area at the top of the calendar, displays the calendar in a printer-friendly format.
Permanent Availability: Permanent Availability allows you to set your default availability for each day of the week. For example, let's say you only want to work the AM Shifts on weekends on an ongoing basis. You can set this preference in Permanent Availability by checking the 1 box for Saturday and Sunday without having to update the Daily Availability for every weekend.
Also, Daily Availability will override the selections made in Permanent Availability. Using the example above, let's say you would prefer to work the PM Shift this weekend instead of the AM. You would simply access your calendar and check the 2 box for this Saturday and Sunday. The Permanent Availability will still be viewable on your calendar, but when your agency runs an Availability Report, the Permanent Availability will be replaced with the Daily Availability. Future weekends will still appear as permanently available for AM weekend shifts.
